Blink became Jordan’s first digital-only neobank, launching in just 6 months and transforming financial access for thousands of underbanked youth.
With Capital Bank of Jordan, Codebase Technologies helped launch Blink, the country’s first fully digital neobank built to drive financial inclusion for underserved millennials and Gen Z. Leveraging our award-winning Digibanc™ platform, Blink was launched in just six months, enabling users to open accounts with a Jordanian ID in under 15 minutes and receive instant credit card approvals without salary transfers, an unprecedented first in the Jordanian market.
With over 70% of Jordanians underbanked, Blink introduced a gesture-based user interface inspired by popular social platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This mobile-first approach, rooted in human-centered design, made banking feel intuitive, fast, and relevant to young users. Features like QR payments, card services, and simplified digital lending empowered users with seamless control over their finances, all from their smartphones.
Blink’s disruptive launch has already made a national impact, with tens of thousands of new-to-bank customers onboarded and rapid credit card uptake. Thanks to Digibanc™’s modular capabilities, Blink is now perfectly positioned for fast scaling across MENA, and has established itself as a digital-first banking leader redefining how inclusive finance is delivered in emerging markets.
